Smoking is a range of rolling paper made by Miquel y Costas in Barcelona, Spain. Range marketed in 5 continents and more than 90 countries in the world. Smoking is one of the oldest paper mills. The brand offers different packaging in different colours, making it easy to identify the weight and composition of each paper.

How did the Smoking brand become a must-have?

1725

Naissance de la marque de papier Smoking dans le village de Capellades. A l’origine une fabrication artisanale de papier à l’aide de moulins.

Ce n’est que plus de 100 ans plus tard que la société se spécialise dans la fabrication de papier à cigarette et que l’entreprise Miquel y Costas & Miquel voit le jour. S’en est suivie la création du premier carnet de feuille à rouler appelé Pino faisant référence au nom du créateur El Pino.

1924

La marque internationale Smoking voit le jour. Smoking devient l’une des plus grandes fabriques de papier dans le monde.

During the 1920s, in the era of modernity and entertainment and under the impetus of Antonio Miquel y Bonet, the rolling paper brand became the multi-generational icon of smokers. A strong, contemporary and open-minded image is conveyed to create closeness with the public.

1929

La gamme Smoking est créée avec la sortie du petit carnet rouge de feuilles à rouler. C’est à cette même période que la gamme King Size est lancée.

Smoking continues to improve and expand its range of paper by creating the "Pure Hemp", the paper made from 100% pure hemp and the Smoking Deluxe, an ultra thin paper that has become one of the brand's flagship products. The Guarani, Bugler, Bob Marley, SMK, Mantra and Bambu ranges are also available.

A ce jour, Smoking continue de travailler sur la qualité de son papier à rouler avec du papier très fin et même non blanchi pour convenir à un plus grand nombre.
