Made of ceramic or clay, the Bowl Hookah classic is the first of the Bowls ! At the beginning, its purpose was simply to contain the tobacco of the Hookah and allow its combustion. Since then, its use has evolved, it has also become a decorative element and thanks to its new design, it can contain more tobacco and extend the duration of the Hookahsessions. Some Bowls for traditional Hookah also offer the possibility of mixing flavours, without mixing the tobacco. The classic Bowl is certainly the oldest of the Bowls. It is usually found in the Hookah bars of the oriental countries. The flat ones contain very little tobacco and have several holes in the bottom. The classicBowl now exists in different materials and shapes (skulls, double Bowl...).

Tip for use: you can place a sheet of aluminium foil on top of Bowl to facilitate cleaning on the one hand and on the other hand to allow a better fluidity during the session. Thanks to the aluminium, it will also be possible for you to easily retrieve unused tobacco at Hookah . Remember to ventilate the tobacco in Bowl and take care not to block the holes, so as not to hinder air circulation. Finally, avoid overfilling your Bowl so that the tobacco does not stick to the aluminium. This could burn your tobacco. It is also recommended to use traditional Hookah tobacco with the classicBowls , to prevent the juice from the stones from running down the chimney.

The Bowl Hookah of phunnel shape came on the market long after the traditional Bowl and at the same time as the Bowl for Hookah vortex. This Bowl was created to give more pleasure to hookah smokers, but also to allow longer and longer sessions with more and more smoke. Available in several colors and different materials, the Bowl for Hookah phunnel is composed of a central column longer than the others Bowls and a single hole on the top of the column. Thanks to its central hole and its shape, you will be able to smoke very wet tobacco but also and especially the taste Hookah like Shiazo stones or Cloud One, the juice will remain contained in the Bowl and will not clog the column of your hookah!

The Bowl phunnel has a more powerful heating power than the traditional Bowl , the ignition is faster and the burning of the tobacco is better.

Directions for use: put a little juice at the bottom of your Bowl phunnel for more flavor. Little tip: place your charcoal on the sides of your Bowls and move it around to suit your consumption, to make your Hookah session last longer and to avoid feeling the strong taste of tobacco if it is placed in the middle.

Bowl Hookah in terracotta 

The terracottaBowl is the most authenticBowl to Hookah . Traditionally used in Turkey, it is only natural that it is found under the name of "Bowl turkish bowl" or "turkish bowl". Entirely made of terracotta, it is now available in versions with the addition of ceramics in the inner part of the bowl. Thus, the Bowl remains preserved from glycerine impregnation.

This Bowl is mainly used with the fireplaceHeat Management Device as the famous brohood. It is also common to find this Bowl sold with integrated Brohood system.

Positive points: Easy to prepare

Negative points: Requires a good management of the heating / Is impregnated with glycerin and thus tobacco flavorings

Bowl in ceramics

The ceramicBowl is currently the most popular type of Bowl in France. Easier to maintain than theBowl , it is available in many shapes to suit different heating systems. Although they are most often designed to work with a Kaloud LotusAlthough it is most often designed to work with a ceramic stove, some brands such as Alpaca bowls manufactures Bowls in ceramic for sessions with the famous Provost AOT.

The Bowl in glass
